The Muscovitch Law Firm

We assist with all your legal needs — from starting up a new business to acquiring or selling one, and everything in between — for clients in Canada and throughout the world.

We act for a wide variety of businesses, small and large, across advertising, software development, hospitality, travel, e-commerce, healthcare, retail, distribution, transportation, telecommunications and more. We have developed particular expertise in counselling new and established online-based businesses, and can assist with your domain name, website, contracts, and related transactions.

If you have an Internet business, not just any business lawyer may be able to serve your unique needs. You need a lawyer who is an expert in Internet business issues.

Zak Muscovitch, Principal

Zak Muscovitch, the principal of the firm, has been practising Internet law since 1999, for clients all over Canada and the world. He is General Counsel of the Internet Commerce Association, the author of numerous articles on a wide range of legal topics — including “Taxation of Internet Commerce” (1996), the first published legal treatise on the taxation of Internet commerce — and is often consulted by the media on legal topics of current interest.
